With Commercial Insurance

Even without coverage, manufacturer savings cards from Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly can reduce your cost significantly for commercially insured patients.

With Medicare

Medicare's coverage of GLP-1 drugs depends entirely on why you're taking them. Ozempic and Mounjaro are covered under Medicare Part D for Type 2 diabetes — thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, you should pay $0–$50/month. Wegovy and Zepbound, prescribed for weight loss, are NOT currently covered by Medicare. This affects millions of seniors who would benefit from these medications.

Without Insurance (Cash Pay)

Without insurance, compounded GLP-1 medications from telehealth providers like Ro, Found, and Hims offer semaglutide or tirzepatide at $99–$299/month — legally prescribed and dispensed by licensed pharmacies. Patient Assistance Programs
